Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will handle supervisory tasks in road maintenance, including:
Supervising the maintenance and building of roads.
Inspecting work, supervising, and training workers.
Handling and maintaining machines and aids used for road maintenance and construction work.
Planning and supervising maintenance and construction of roads, premises, and buildings.
Repairing equipment in and to buildings, premises, and roads.
Undertaking the safeguarding of work areas and construction machines in terms of the Health and Safety Act.
Disciplining subordinates and applying proper labour relations.
