Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team and support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
Ensure trading floor operation is Legal & Safe everyday using all available tools & observations
Deliver the Brand Promise everyday ensuring great value, quality, range & service for our customers
Ensure all promotional activity is executed to plan.
Manage schedules and overtime so we have the right colleagues in the right place, at the right time and labour costs remain in line with budget.
Manage the operation so Waste & Shrink are in line with budget.
Ensure daily production schedules are maintained correctly for all relevant departments.
Ensure we engage colleagues by conducting regular team meetings and coaching on the go.
Manage and develop the talent within your departments

Job Requirements:
Grade 12
Retail Management diploma would be advantageous
At least 3 – 5 years working experience as an Assistant/Department Manager in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Retail Environment
Available and flexible to work different shifts across trading and none trading hours
Transferrable
Own reliable transport
