We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Grade C Armed Security Officer to join our security team at a National Key Point. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, personnel and assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matric certificate<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PSIRA Grade C registration and accreditation<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At least 2 years\u2019 experience in armed security, preferable in a high-security environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate (Handgun, Shotgun & Rifle for business purpose)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strong observational skills and attention to detail<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Willingness to undergo regular polygraph tests<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client with regard to security services rendered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Monitor and control access points to the facility<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prepare detailed reports on incidents and daily activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n
