PURPOSE
Identity and implement Best Operating Practices from a store accounting perspective. To ensure that all financial data & transactions are accurately captured & reconciled to produce accurate trial balances and financial reports. KEY<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reconciliation of bank account ledgers and cashups on a daily basis<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reconciliation of weekly Drop Shipment and DC Warehouse supplier accounts<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maintenance of general ledger accounts<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Balancing & reporting on daily sales<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensuring all balance sheet recons are completed timeously and accurately for month end reporting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Capturing and reviewing of journal entries<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Supervision of store admin team<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Managing and controlling of documents management systems<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maintain fixed asset registers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Support all adhoc finance projects<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Managing payment submissions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minimum requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matric with Accounting and Mathematics<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Related tertiary qualification (Or studying towards)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3 years\u2019 relevant experience in FMCG<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Accuracy and ability to pay attention to detail<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Assertive<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Analytical with strong recon skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ability to work well under pressure<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organized and dependable<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Work to timelines and deadlines<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Excel intermediate mandatory<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SAP experience advantageous<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EasyAcc experience required<\/p>\n\n\n\n
