Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires an experienced Cleaner for their Midlands store. You will be responsible to maintain a clean and neat store, by Dis-Chem\u2019s hygienic standards. The areas will include the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office and canteen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grade 12 \/ Matric<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A minimum of 6 months\u2019 cleaning experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sound command of the English language<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Basic customer service<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additional language that is area specific<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Willing and able to work retail hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Advantageous:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bilingual<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previous retail store cleaning experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Job Description:Provide a daily high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the store, shop floor and communal areas, before the store opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Develop routines to ensure all areas of the store are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure the canteen and restrooms are clean, and stocked with the necessary products at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Be available throughout operational hours to clean up as and when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure correct cleaning products and equipment are used for specific jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure the wet floor sign is up and visible at both ends, when cleaning the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Be friendly, professional and able to assist customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Perform duties according to Health and Safety Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
