The programme offers a dynamic environment where innovation thrives, catering to interests in business development, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Join SEDA in its mission to empower small businesses, drive economic growth, and foster sustainable change across South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEDA Internships Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0Intern for Quality &amp; Standards and Technology Transfer (X2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong>\u00a0Twelve (12) Months Fixed Term Contract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reporting To:<\/strong>\u00a0Manager of Technology Transfer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Job Grade:<\/strong>\u00a0Internship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stipend:<\/strong>\u00a0R 6 000.00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Number of Positions:<\/strong>\u00a02<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Division:<\/strong>\u00a0STP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Seda National Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEDA Internships Objective<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The main purpose of the internship programme is to offer suitable and applicable work experience aligned with the intern\u2019s qualifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It aims to provide hands-on experience that complements the intern\u2019s academic background.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application in the field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interns will have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge gained from their studies to real-world scenarios.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ultimate goal is to enhance the intern\u2019s skill set and prepare them for future career opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Evaluate small enterprises to assess their suitability for the Technology Transfer Fund (TTF) benefits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create business cases for presentation to the adjudication panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage the administration of the Technology Transfer Fund on a national scale.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish and upkeep a precise database related to the fund\u2019s activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify the technology supplied to clients at their premises.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in the review of TTF policies and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze the impact of technology interventions on beneficiaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate TTF awareness workshops to educate stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Matriculation along with a three-year tertiary qualification (N6) in Commerce, Project Management, Technology, or Engineering.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s degree (<a href=\"https:\/\/nasi-ispani.co.za\/understanding-nqf-levels-and-qualifications\/\">NQF 7<\/a>) in Commerce, Project Management, Technology, or Engineering is advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience is not applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competencies Required<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Effective communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong business acumen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to plan and organize tasks efficiently<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention to detail and diligence in administrative tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adherence to policies and procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic proficiency in computer skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competence in office management duties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply, kindly submit your&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gauteng.net\/news\/best-cv-writers-in-south-africa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">resume<\/a>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:recruitmentstp@seda.org.za\">recruitmentstp@seda.org.za<\/a>.
