Description<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nCurrently we are searching for a Cashier for Johannesburg, South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responsibilities of this Post:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n- Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers\u2019 purchases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Bags purchased if needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items; and operating a cash register.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Processes return transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Discounts purchases by redeeming coupons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Enters price changes by referring to price sheets and special sale bulletins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Provides pricing information by answering questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Requirements of this Post:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n- Matric is essential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Experience as a cashier is advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Computer literate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
